Internet Projects’ Management: Born Locally – Act Globally

The Faculty of Management in collaboration with the Business Incubator, HSE-Perm has devised a short-term educational program for those who are interested in Internet projects development.

It’s no secret that currently the Internet plays a crucial role in business development – nearly every company uses the Internet as a tool for promotion or communication with their customers. The Faculty of Management in collaboration with the Business Incubator, HSE-Perm has devised a short-term educational program for those who are interested in Internet projects development.

The idea of the program is to connect the managerial basics with the experience of project developers thus giving the students an overall  picture of project management in an unpredictable environment. The course consists of several topics, pivot for the fast-growing Internet business:

  • Generating business models for  Internet projects;
  • Investor-relations;
  • Digital marketing metrics;
  • B2B sales online and off-line;
  • The art of presentation;
  • Negotiations;
  • ‘Fail fast’, or how to stop and start again.

The course is oriented towards the development of practical skills and built around the cases of several fast growing internet-projects like Xsolla, Realtimeboard, PiratePay, Macroscope, AlternativaPlatform and Tamzap Studio. All the projects originate from Perm and are currently competing globally. Video and some presentations of the course are available here.
