Practisism and Realism of Simon Kordonsky

The seminar by Simon Kordonsky was devoted to the issues of stratification in contemporary Russian society and the administrative and territorial structure of Russia.

The tradition of research seminars with leading experts in their field is a key point in the Master’s program “Public Administration”. This time the seminar expert was Simon Kordonsky, tenured professor of the Higher School of Economics, one of the best lecturers and researchers.

The series of seminars was devoted to the issues of stratification in contemporary Russian society and the administrative and territorial structure of Russia. The Laboratory of Local Administration headed by Simon Kordonsky  is currently one of the leading research centers in the field of municipal government, which contributes not only scientifically but  also in practical ways elaborating the programs and recommendations for decision making in public administration. The seminars were rated highly by students giving them new insights into  their research activities.
